Childhood memories: Salford in the Second World War

Meet Brian and Norma, two volunteers at IWM North who grew up in Salford during the Second World War. They'll be holding talks throughout April, telling stories about the Salford Blitz, life as an evacuee and of celebrating VE Day with street parties in the city.

Talks will take place on 7, 9, 14, 23 April, and 14, 27 May 2026.
