Life Drawing Late: Salford 100 & L.S. Lowry

This month we’re celebrating Salford 100 by focusing on our city’s most famous adoptive artistic son, L.S. Lowry.

Lowry attended life classes for over 30 years and once said “Life is the only thing, long years of drawing the figure is the only thing that matters.”

In this session we’ll be following in his footsteps by exploring his life drawing techniques and seeing how he used observational drawing to inspire abstract figure designs.

The session will be led by professional illustrator Paul Pickford.
