GRIT Studios and The Coping CIC bring Move a Mile to Salford – a free family festival of skateboarding, street art, music and creativity.

On Sunday 19 July (11am-4pm), Pendleton's streets will come alive with live street art, skateboarding, music, creative workshops, performances and interactive activities, creating a festival atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to join in, try something new and discover the city's incredible creative community.

Whether you're watching talented skateboarders in action, seeing street artists create murals live, making something yourself, enjoying live music or taking part in hands-on workshops, Move a Mile offers something for every generation. It's a chance to spend the day outdoors, meet local creatives and experience Salford in a completely new way...

It all starts at Salford Shopping Centre with regular tours via Salford Youth Zone to Graystone Action Sports. You can walk, skate, dance, jog, cycle or even hop if you like!
